Reporting such incidents contributes to protecting the Saudi Investment Bank, its shareholders, contractors, employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Rights and Protection of the Reporter

The Saudi Investment Bank will take all necessary measures to protect the reporter from any retaliatory actions.
The Saudi Investment Bank has no tolerance for any harassment or harm directed at individuals who raise genuine concerns. If a report is made in good faith with the reporter’s identity disclosed, the bank ensures that no harassment, harm, or retaliatory action will be taken against the reporter, even if the investigation concludes that no violations or misconduct occurred.

Declaration of the whistleblower

  • The reporter must avoid malicious reports intended to defame others, entrap them, seek revenge, or undermine trust in the bank, its employees, or stakeholders.
  • The reporter is responsible for any malicious allegations, and if proven to be malicious, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against them.
  • The reporter should, as far as possible, refrain from disclosing the details of the report or discussing the reasons for reporting with anyone else even in cases where a supervisor or someone in a higher position is alleged to have engaged in illegal, unethical, or improper activities, such incidents must be reported through the whistleblowing channels.
  • The reporter must not attempt to investigate the complaint themselves.
  • Claims should be supported by as much evidence(s) as possible, preferably in the form of documents.
  • Evidences, such as emails, letters, and invoices, must be preserved in its original form. In other words, it must not be altered, and the suspect must not be warned or alerted.
